On Thursday, April 5, a public presentation of the CARDIKARST project was held in front of teachers, students and colleagues at the Department of Physics, Faculty of Science and Mathematics (University of Zagreb). In the first part, the head of the Croatian part of the project, prof. Nenad Buzjak explained the goals, methods and expected outcomes of the project. He presented the members of the team from Slovenia and Croatia and the locations in Croatia & Slovenia where the research will be carried out.
In the second part, assist. prof. Dalibor Paar spoke about environmental physics and the whole series of research in the Croatian karst and caves that preceded the realization of CARDIKARST. Several students present asked interesting questions, so after the presentation a lively discussion also developed.
