At the Department of Geography, Faculty of Science, University of Zagreb, on October 28, 2024, the project leader gave a lecture titled “Project CARDIKARST: CO2 and the Microclimate of Karst Subterranean Environments – What Have We Discovered After Two Years of Research?” The attendees were introduced to the project’s objectives and its progress. In addition to the initial results achieved, demonstrated through the example of Samograd Cave (Cave Park Grabovača), the lecture addressed the challenges of leading a scientific project, particularly those related to the development of new research equipment and the difficulties encountered during fieldwork.
