Arduino loger test in Samograd cave [07-2024]

After the first test with the loggers built on the Arduino Seeduino 3.1 and 3.2 boards, where we still have problems with the CO2 sensor, today we checked the operation of the logger based on the Arduino Leonardo board equipped with SD card shield. Three loggers with a CozIR®-A 10,000 ppm CO2 Sensor and one with a CozIR®-A 10,000ppm CO2 + RH/T Sensor were tested. All of them use a LiPo battery with a capacity of 6600 mAh. Loggers are calibrated by Handhled CO2 meter Vaisala GM70. They are programmed for a measurement interval of 30 minutes. In order to control the operation, they are placed next to the ClimLog weather station equipped with a CO2 and T/RH sensor. They measured on July 10-16 in an environment where the air temperature is 5-7°C. The test results are satisfactory because all loggers showed correct data and trends. After the test, the loggers were calibrated and put into operation for the next 2 week period.

Logger design and software is developed with out partner Studio ZVIZ.
